I’m an American living in England, and I’ve been obsessed with Land Rovers for as long as I can remember. Not the showroom kind — the honest kind. Mud in the door shuts, a story in every dent.
Moving here put me at the source. Britain is where these trucks live: in barns, on farms, tucked behind stone walls in villages that haven’t changed in fifty years. I started Williams Defenders — the Land Rover arm of Williams Motors — because I kept finding Defenders I wished someone back home could buy. One day the company will sell other cars too. For now, it sells the ones I know best.
My promise is simple: I inspect every truck personally before it touches the list. I crawl underneath it. I read the paperwork. If I wouldn’t put my own money into it, it doesn’t get listed — and a fair few don’t.
